Time together - L x reader - Part XI

"_____! Are you okay?!" Lawliet run to your side and tried to help you, since the cut in your forehead opened and you were a little groggy.

"I-I'm okay…" you answered, and made a gesture with your hand, refusing his help. 'For the last two days he ignored me and now he's acting like nothing happened between us? Please, don't play with me.'

"_-_____?" Lawliet looked at you, but you didn't look at him. "I need to talk to you, ______."

You couldn't hold yourself anymore:

"You need it now, huh? Because two days ago don't seem to care about it."

"I'm sorry, ______. But I didn't mean to do it. You've understood it wrong." He said, his voice low and emotionless.

"How would I know that you didn't mean to? You talk all the time with this emotionless voice. But, yeah, I'm always wrong, right?" you wanted to be angry at him, but couldn't. The only thing you feel was sadness. "Excuse me. I need to go home."

You were about to pass by him when he pushed you to a part of the alleyway which was covered by shadow.

"R-Ryuzaki!"

"I told you that my name is Lawliet didn't I? If I told you it is because I want you to call me Lawliet." He said, his lips quasi touching your ear. "Say it."

You didn't.

"Say it, ______." His lips came closer.

"L-Lawliet!" you said with low voice and shaking a little bit.

"That's right." And than he pulled you into a kiss. You've missed it; the way his lips fit perfectly in yours, the way his hands hold your waist and the way he hugged you. You've missed him. You opened your mouth, letting his tongue enter it and dance with yours, your arms around his neck, pulling him closer to you.

When you broke the kiss the both you were breathing heavily.

"Oi, Ryuzaki!" Matsuda-san called him and he quickly pulled away from you.

"Y-yes, Matsuda-san? What is it?" he said, faltering.

"Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait!! Were you two KISSING??" Matsuda started to laugh when both of you went all red. "I always thought that there was something between you but I can't believe I was right!!!"

With this you started to laugh too. Lawliet looked at you and raised an eyebrow, before starting to laugh too.

"Yeah, you find out, Matsuda-san. ______ is my girlfriend."

----------- A week later -----------

Light was remand in the jail with Misa, and for now they had not received the death penalty, because though Light's father disapproved of his actions, he tried to protect his son of it. Lawliet explained to you that he avoided you before 'cause he thought that if he showed Light that he'd a relationship with you, he would try to hurt you.

Your name was everywhere, the girl that brought out the true story from the Kira case. You were a little bit shy at first, but now you become accustomed to it, sometime it'll and anyway so…

Lawliet was always by your side when you needed help and was as gentle as always. The love between you two grew bigger and bigger at each day and you felt that you couldn't be happier.

The horror of your past let your mind and all incomplete pieces of your soul were patched.

Your life was finally complete and the future would define the rest. But you knew that as long as Lawliet stayed by your side all would be right. Because love wins everything. And the love between you two were bigger then anyone else, this would never change.

You went to your bed and the last thing you thought before falling asleep was:

'Thank you, Lawliet. I'm glad that we are together now. Thank you for our time together.'
